Southern Flinders Senior School Art & Design Exhibition incorporating the Clan Rodda Award 2013
The Southern Flinders Senior School Art and Design Exhibition incorporating the Clan Rodda Award is now celebrating ten years of supporting and celebrating the creativity of the young people in this region.
Students who studied year 11 or 12 in 2012 from the Southern Flinders region were invited to showcase their artwork at Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery and to present their artwork for consideration for several awards.
35 artworks from 21 students were received from John Pirie Secondary School, Saint Marks College, Gladstone High School and Booleroo Centre District Schools.
Congratulations to all the teachers of the students involved, you have guided some very talented and creative young artists who have presented some inspirational works of art!
The Clan Rodda Award of $1,000 acknowledges the contribution to the arts by accomplished Port Pirie artist, Clan Rodda and was presented to Wynne Plug-Berndt who completed year 12 in 2012 at Gladstone High School.
